"All the works of man have their origin in creative fantasy. What right have we then to depreciate imagination?"
- Carl Jung, Modern Man in Search of a Soul (1933)
Everything has an origin. The question of how did something begin concerns the very large - the universe, mankind, etc - but also the very small, such as a single atom. Only through understanding origins are we able to fully reach the potential.
We began our annual conference in 2011 exploring what makes the human mind so unique and incredible with a theme of “What Can Your Mind Do for You?”. With "Origins," we are continuing our quest in stimulating thought-provoking conversation, talking about how stories of origins shape our lives, communities, and collective history.
